Roman Reigns update: WWE star in good form as he poses for fan photo amid leukaemia battle
ROMAN REIGNS looked to be in good form as he posed for a photo with a fan amid his battle with leukaemia.
WWE stars support Roman Reigns after leukaemia diagnosis
Reigns stunned the WWE Universe last October when he revealed he was first diagnosed with the disease 11 years ago and after quickly putting it in remission the cancer unfortunately returned.
The Big Dog then relinquished the Universal Championship, shortly after dethroning Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, and went back home for treatment.
Now after three months of therapy the four-time world champion looks to be in good condition as he recently met a fan in Hawaii.
The ex-WWE Champion was in his gym gear when he was introduced to the wrestling supporter and seemed to be in high spirits as he happily posed next to him.
Hayden's day made! Look who we ran into at our hotel in Kauai... Roman Reigns! Nice guy
KARK 4 TODAY morning anchor Susanne Brunner took the picture in a hotel lobby in Kauai and said that the popular grappler was a “nice guy”.
Brunner tweeted: “Hayden's day made! Look who we ran into at our hotel in Kauai... Roman Reigns! Nice guy.”
Reigns has made very few public appearances ever since his diagnosis and the first one took place last November during a football match featuring his former college team Georgia Tech taking on rivals the University of Georgia Bulldogs.
The ex-Universal Champion then took a photo with a police officer who shared the pic on Instagram and revealed that the popular wrestler was “doing well”.
The ex-Intercontinental Champion is confident he will beat leukaemia again and return to action better than ever soon.
Reigns said: “The reality is my real name is Joe [Anoa’i] and I'd been living with leukaemia for 11 years... And unfortunately it's back.
"And because the leukaemia is back, I cannot fulfil my role. I can't be that fighting champion and I'm going to have to relinquish the Universal Championship.
"I'm not going to lie, I'll take every prayer you can send my way but I'm not looking for sympathy.

"I'm not looking for you to feel bad for me because I have faith.
"When I was 22 years old I was diagnosed with this and very quickly I was able to put it in remission. But I'm not going to lie, that was the hardest time of my life.
"I didn't have a job, I didn't have any money, I didn't have a home and I had a baby on the way. And football was done with me.
"But do you know who gave me a chance? The team that gave me a chance was the WWE.
"After I'm done whooping leukaemia's a** once again, I'm coming back home.
"I want to show my family, my friends, my children and my wife that when life throws a curveball at me, I am the type of man that will stand in that batter’s box, I will crowd the plate, I will choke up and I will swing for the fences every single time!”
