UFC News - Georges St-Pierre fires back at Dana White
Former UFC welterweight and middleweight champion Georges St-Pierre has dismissed Dana White's claim he's gone into retirement.
“There’s a big chance I’m fighting again, yes,” St-Pierre told News.com.au.
“Nothing is on the contract right now. I gained so much weight in my last fight because I fought in a higher weight class than I usually compete at.
“And I’ve got a health issue. I’ve got an ulcer in my stomach and I was having a lot of issues.
“I got into some medication and some intermittent fasting and a time-restricted eating program. It’s now a lot better than it was, but it’s still not 100 per cent.
“I need to wait before I go back into training camp, because when you’re in training camp everything amplifies so much because of the stress.
“I want to make sure I get rid of this before I go back to training.”
