Conor McGregor return statement
Conor McGregor was preparing to return to the UFC before the end of the year prior to his antics at the UFC 223 media day, his manager Audie Attar has claimed.
"Conor’s been training from the beginning of the year. He’s made that known publicly,” Attar said during an appearance on Michael Bisping’s Believe You Me podcast.
“All these other rumours and people saying ‘oh he never fights again or will he ever fight again.’
“Dude’s an ultra-competitor and he’s not done writing his own story.
“When is that? I don’t know. What I can tell you is things are heating up and as you see by his own social media, he’s staying ready.”
I would fight in the UFC
Anthony Joshua talks up shock UFC move
World heavyweight champion boxer Anthony Joshua has revealed he's open to fighting in the UFC.
"I respect the guys that do boxing, I respect the guys that are in UFC and I would fight in that sport,” Joshua told the Independent.ie. “But ultimately, a fight’s a fight. I would. I would fight in the UFC.
“I’m not saying how good I would do, but a challenge is a challenge and a fight is a fight. So you’ll give it your best shot.
“I think that’s the issue with boxing is a lot of the heavyweights that might have been in boxing now have made a path for themselves in UFC.

“If something comes along, great but I need to make my mind up and make that official and move on with the rest of my life or get a fight.
“I was supposed to fight in London, it never happened. Book me a fight and let’s go. If not, f**k it, let’s move on.“
