Conor McGregor v Floyd Mayweather 2: Key player in deal says ‘there’s a chance’ it happens
FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR could very well fight in the UFC, according to Showtime Sports’ Stephen Espinoza.

Last week, Mayweather shocked the combat sports world by suggesting he’s keen on having a mixed martial arts fight.
Mayweather’s revelation came in the form of videos on his Instagram and Twitter pages, which showed him entering an Octagon and menacingly looking at the camera.
Mayweather followed up that video with a photoshopped picture of himself inside a UFC cage with the accompanying caption: “Billion Dollar Man.”
The prospect of the former five-weight world champion boxer entering the MMA world was laughed off by many, including by his last opponent, UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor.
Upon seeing Mayweather’s first video, McGregor tweeted: “Hahahaha very good. Keep up the good work my son. Yours sincerely, Senior.”
The likelihood of Mayweather setting foot inside the Octagon is very low given the fact he prides himself on his unbeaten record.
Espinoza, a key player in Mayweather’s much-maligned boxing match with McGregor, disagrees with that notion and believes we could see the Michigan native enter the MMA world.

There’s a chance
“Nobody thought that Mayweather-McGregor was a realistic thing, so I’ve learned not to question what Floyd is capable of pulling off,” Espinoza told TMZ Sports.
“There’s a chance. Like, whatever he puts his mind to, he sort of wills it to happen.”
He added: “He willed the McGregor fight into happening, so if he sets his mind to it, it’ll happen.”

Although he initially laughed off the prospect of Mayweather having an MMA bout, McGregor admits the possibility of the Olympian entering the cage intrigues him.
“I’m excited, let’s see,” McGregor told Adam Glyn. “I just landed so I’ll check it out. But, I’m up for it.
“He should. I went into his game, he should come into mine.”
