MAX HOLLOWAY has found himself on the receiving end of another shot from Conor McGregor.

The reigning UFC featherweight was trolled by his former opponent in December less than 24 hours after he defeated Jose Aldo in the main event of UFC 218.
McGregor somewhat surprisingly took aim at Holloway by posting a picture of the Hawaiian battered and bruised after their UFC Fight Night 26 bout to his Instagram and Twitter pages.
The Irishman was in the background of the snap wearing a pair of sunglasses, which prompted him to use the accompanying caption: “I miss those sunglasses.”
Not one to let anyone get the better of him, Holloway responded with a post of his own, in which he dubbed McGregor a retired fighter due to his lengthy hiatus from the Octagon.
The dust seemed settled on the pair’s brief beef with one another relatively quickly.
However, McGregor has well and truly stirred the pot again with another dig at ‘Blessed’, which came in the form of yet another Instagram post.

When there is no referee to save you
The post in question featured a picture of McGregor palming Holloway in the face during their April 2015 bout.
But it was the picture’s accompanying caption that caption that caused a stir.
It read: “When there is no referee to save you.”
Conor McGregor's latest dig at Max Holloway
The timing of McGregor’s latest pop at Holloway came not long after it was announced that the latter was forced to withdraw from his UFC 222 bout with Frankie Edgar due to a leg injury.
Holloway will no doubt soon issue some sort of response to McGregor, who was the last man to defeat him inside the Octagon.
McGregor, 29, is seemingly making moves to return to the UFC, recently telling Adam Glyn: “I’m currently in negotiations to face my next opponent. We have many options.

“There's current interim lightweight champion [Tony Ferguson]. There's an undefeated Dagestani [Khabib Nurmagomedov]. There might be a big Russian event.
"There's obviously the [Nate] Diaz trilogy. Of course, the Mayweather fight is there.
"We're just at the table at the moment. Times are good."
