Conor McGregor hits back at Floyd Mayweather
Conor McGregor has laughed off the possibility of Floyd Mayweather Jr having a mixed martial arts fight.
He tweeted: “Hahahaha very good. Keep up the good work my son. Yours sincerely, Senior.”
McGregor followed that up tweet with a more short and concise post, in which he used a phrase he coined during the Mayweather vs. McGregor press tour.
Alongside a picture of himself and his son, Conor Jr, McGregor wrote: "F**k the Mayweathers.”

Nate Diaz only wants Conor McGregor trilogy fight
Ultimate Fighter season five winner Nate Diaz wants his long-awaited comeback fight to be a trilogy fight with McGregor, according to Eddie Alvarez.
“The more I think about it, the more I’m like: When Conor takes a break, Nate takes a break,” Alvarez said during an appearance on The MMA Hour.
“Conor’s like, ‘I ain’t fighting until August,’ and Nate’s like, ‘Well, I ain’t fighting until July,’ or some sh*t.
"I guess his ego doesn’t let him say, ‘I just want to fight Conor.’ Just say it. Like, just be honest with everyone.
“If that’s who you want to fight, there’s nothing wrong with that. But don’t call everyone out if you don’t have any intention of fighting anybody.
“You’re getting a bunch of fans excited who you’re just bullsh*tting. If you don’t want any work from any lightweight in the division, then just don’t say anything to any of the lightweights in the division and everything will be cool.
“But when you say things like that, you should be ready to at least fight somebody.”

Conor McGregor to be stripped of his title in April
The UFC brass won't relieve McGregor of the lightweight title until the upcoming 155lbs bout between Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov is official, according to Alvarez.
“What’s going on is that this fight is 0 for 3. They’re not going to strip Conor of a belt and then have a vacant title for a fight that’s 0 for 3,” Alvarez said during an appearance on The MMA Hour.

“They have not been able to make this fight. Every time they book it, they’re not able to make the fight. Either Khabib gets hurt, Tony gets hurt or someone gets hurt.
“So I think what the UFC is thinking — and this is just a theory, an opinion on my point — is that this fight is not going to happen.
“There’s a very unlikely chance that it’s going to happen, so they’re not going to strip the champion, then have this fight fall through and then not have a champion.”
