RONDA ROUSEY is adamant she won’t be competing at the Royal Rumble.
Ronda Rousey, former UFC women's bantamweight champion
The former UFC women’s bantamweight champion has been linked with a move to the wrestling world ever since her cameo appearance at Wrestlemania 31.
Talk of the future UFC Hall of Famer swapping the Octagon for the wrestling ring heated up earlier this month when she was spotted having dinner her agent and Triple H.
The timing of the meeting with Triple H, the WWE’s Executive Vice President of Talent, led many to speculate that the California native could make her WWE bow at this year’s Royal Rumble, which takes place in the early hours of Monday morning.
However, according to the Olympian, she won't be involved in this year's historic women-only rumble match.
"I'm actually leaving to Colombia right now to finish shooting Mile 22 and I won't be back until mid-February," the UFC star told TMZ when asked if she would be at the event.
Rousey then went on to reveal she’s yet to sign a deal to join wrestling’s premiere promotion, a claim which was made before the turn of the New Year.

“No, I haven’t signed anything, regardless to what anyone has said," she added.
“No pen to paper for me.”
Rousey’s seemingly impending transition from mixed martial arts to professional wrestling comes on the back of her consecutive stoppage losses to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes, which many believe have sent her into retirement.

UFC president Dana White believes Ronda Rousey will soon retire from mixed martial arts
The Olympic bronze medalist has yet to confirm that her days as a mixed martial artist are over, but UFC president Dana White believes MMA fans have seen the last of ‘Rowdy’.
“I think people realize she’s probably going to retire,” White said last August.
“Now she’s going to move on to the next chapter of her life, get married and have kids, do that thing. It’s not sad, it’s the way she wanted it.”
