Conor McGregor ‘stripped’ of the UFC lightweight title
Conor McGregor has allegedly been ‘stripped’ of his lightweight title.
That's according to Russian news website Tass, who claim interim lightweight king Tony Ferguson fight Khabib Nurmagomedov for the undisputed title at UFC 223 on April 7.
A source close to the fight negotiations is alleged to have told the publication said: “The contract for the fight was signed.”
Express Sport have reached out to the UFC for comment.

Dana White rules out Floyd Mayweather rematch
UFC president Dana White has ruled out the possibility of McGregor rematching Floyd Mayweather in the near future.
“I don’t want to do it again,” White said after UFC Fight Night 124 in St-Louis.
“I heard that Floyd Mayweather showed up last night at one of the nightclubs in Vegas with a Conor McGregor t-shirt on.
“I know these guys have been talking s**t, but I want Conor to start training again and come back and defend his title.”
