Conor McGregor vs GSP: Joe Rogan explains why fight is bad for Mac
CONOR MCGREGOR continuously finds himself linked with a mega-money fight with Georges St-Pierre, despite the fact he doesn’t compete in the same weight class as the Canadian.

Talk of McGregor doing battle with St-Pierre first came to be in February after the latter signed a new four-fight deal with the UFC.
Both men have publicly played down suggestions of them fighting each other, with St-Pierre recently saying: “Everything is possible but everybody is targeting Conor McGregor because (of) the money.
“He’s the money fight. But I don’t challenge guys that compete in lower weight class divisions. For me, I don’t do that. I’m going up to fight Michael Bisping now. I’m looking up.
“He’s an amazing fighter, it would be an amazing honour, but I don’t know. I don’t know what to say.
"If the fans want it and he wants it maybe it will happen but right now, I’m focused on Bisping."
Despite the fact both McGregor and St-Pierre have poured cold water on perhaps the biggest fight in UFC history, a bout between them is still high on many mixed martial arts fans’ wish list.

Georges St-Pierre is one of the best fighters of all time
UFC president Dana White seemingly ruled out the prospect of the duo locking horns with one another in the near future earlier this week when questioned about St-Pierre's next move.
"He ain't fighting Conor McGregor," White told ESPN. "If he wants to come back, [UFC welterweight champion] Tyron Woodley or [middleweight champion] Robert Whittaker is waiting for him.
"They're both waiting, if Georges wants to come back."

There are those in the MMA world who believe McGregor has a good chance of defeating St-Pierre, who recently graced the UFC’s middleweight champion.
However, the general consensus amongst the sport’s fans is that the former 185lbs champion is far too big for McGregor to handle, a notion UFC commentator Joe Rogan agrees with.
“If he thinks an MMA fight with GSP is a good idea, that’s a big guy,” he said during a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience Podcast. “He’s very big.

“Georges St-Pierre is one of the best fighters of all time. He’s so f*****g good at grappling.
“But, Conor might go, ‘F**k it, give me a couple of months to put some weight on.’ But if that’s where all the money is, who knows?
“I think Tony Ferguson is the fight, that’s the fight I want to see now. Until I see what happens with (Edson) Barboza and Khabib (Nurmagomedov).”
