GSP is a pr**k - Michael Bisping slates St-Pierre for vacating MW title
MICHAEL BISPING has laid into Georges St-Pierre for vacating the middleweight title.

St-Pierre, 36, gave up the middleweight crown earlier this month due to his ongoing bout of Colitis, which has cast major doubt over his future in mixed martial arts.
The Canadian relinquished the middleweight belt a mere 33 days after prising it from Bisping’s clutches in the main event of UFC 217.
St-Pierre’s decision to vacate his fourth UFC title hasn’t gone down well with Bisping, who tore into his former opponent during the latest instalment of his Believe You Me Podcast.
“He’s a pr**k, He’s a pr**k, god bless him,” Britain’s first UFC belt holder said.
“In one respect, it’s good for me because – as an MMA fighter, as a boxer, whatever it is – if somebody beats you, you never want them to lose again because if they get beat, then the person that beat them, it has a negative impact on you. Like, ‘Oh, they could have beaten me as well.’
“So he’s never going to fight at 185 again, that’s good. I’m the only person at 185 he ever beat, nobody at 185 is ever gonna beat him. So cheers Georges, thanks for that.
“But at the same time, it looks like a bit of a bitch move, you know what I mean? So there’s pluses and negatives.”

Should St-Pierre opt to compete again, many expect him to fight in the welterweight division, which he ruled for five years before relinquishing the title in December 2013.
However, according to the future UFC Hall of Famer’s head coach Firas Zahabi, a return to the 170lbs division isn’t a dead cert.
“It’s hard to say, honestly. It’s hard to say,” Zahabi told TSN’s Robin Black when asked if St-Pierre’s next fight would be at 170lbs.

“I think Georges is gonna get better, get back in the gym. He’s gonna feel his body out and see what he wants, what’s the most interesting, epic fight out there.
“Mayweather? McGregor? We need a mega-fight. Georges will come back for a big, exciting fight.
“No doubt about it. Georges will come back for a big exciting fight.”
