Conor McGregor has been labelled a ‘retire’ fighter by UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway.
Holloway made the comment in a Twitter post responding to his former opponent’s latest dig at him.
It read: “Miss the sunglasses? I bet you also miss 2015 brother. Retired fighters love the past."

Meanwhile, UFC president Dana White has reiterated his belief that McGregor may never fight again.
“Again, like I said last week to everybody who was at my office, who knows if Conor is even going to fight again," he said at the UFC 218 post-fight press conference when asked if ‘The Notorious’ could rematch Holloway. "I’m rolling like he’s not.
“If Conor comes back and defends the title, anything is possible.”

And finally, Holloway believes a rematch with McGregor will more than likely not come to fruition.
“If the Conor fight don’t happen, it’s not on my side, I’ll tell you guys like right now,” he said. “It’s on their team.

“Their team talk about me all the time. That I’m the best guy in the world, this and that — but right now, really think about this. Conor is talking about Paulie Malignaggi... in MMA. Let that sink in.
“Paulie Malignaggi in MMA. I don’t know what to say after that.”
