If Jon Jones had another mistake leading up to this fight it would blow his career
UFC News - Dana White discusses Jon Jones’ return
UFC president Dana White has insisted Jon Jones’ career will be over if he has another transgression before his December rematch with Alexander Gustafsson.
“If Jon Jones had another mistake leading up to this fight it would blow his career,” White told Express Sport at the UFC 230 post-fight press conference.
Jones will rematch Gustafsson on December 29 in the main event of UFC 232, with the winner of the bout being crowned the undisputed light-heavyweight champion.
UFC News - Daniel Cormier vs Brock Lesnar broken down by Brendan Schlub
Former UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub believes a fight against Brock Lesnar will be a harder one for champion Daniel Cormier than his recent bout with Derrick Lewis.
“[With Lesnar] you’re talking a complete freak,” Schaub said during the latest episode of his Below The Belt podcast. “Athletically, is he the biggest freak to ever do it?
“He’s f**king up there, man. We don’t talk about it enough. A guy at his age and with his background - he’s not even a part-time mixed martial artist.
“It’s a hobby for this man and can go in there and compete with the best of the best.
"Imagine if he dedicated his entire life from when he was young to this sport. And he’s fighting through sickness!
“He’s f**king tough to deal with. No one goes in there and is like, ‘Ah this is a gimme fight.’
“Even ‘DC’s’ not like that. I promise you Brock Lesnar will be a tougher fight for DC than Derrick Lewis was. We don’t give that man enough props.”
