Conor McGregor sends eeriest Instagram message yet to Khabib ahead of UFC 229
CONOR MCGREGOR has sent yet another chilling message Khabib Nurmagomedov’s way ahead of their eagerly-anticipated grudge match.

In six days time, McGregor will return to the Octagon to challenge Nurmagomedov for the lightweight title he was stripped of last April.
The Irishman’s long-awaited return to the cage headlines UFC 229, which takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
McGregor’s showdown with the undefeated Dagestani has been nearly two years in the making and tensions between the pair and their respective teams will be high throughout fight week.
The bad blood between the camps reached an all-time high at the UFC 223 media day in Brooklyn, where McGregor threw a dolly through the window of a bus carrying his successor at the summit of the lightweight division.
The pair came face-to-face with each other last week at a heated press conference in New York, in which McGregor brought up Nurmagomedov’s father and the political tensions between Dagestan and Chechnya.
‘The Notorious’ also declared that he would’ve killed ‘The Eagle’ had he stepped out of the bus he attacked, saying: “I just thank the Lord Jesus Christ that that man had not got the balls to step foot off that bus.
“Because trust me, or that the bus doors did not open, because if that bus door had have opened this man would be dead right now.
“He would be in a box and I would be in a cell, and we would not have this great fight ahead of us.”
And just a few days ahead of their multi-million-pound clash, McGregor has sent another eerie message the Russian’s way.
The Dubliner’s latest warning to Nurmagomedov came in the form of an Instagram post, which included a picture of himself drinking water.
Chilling in Jahannam. See you soon.
The snap’s accompanying caption read: “Chilling in Jahannam. See you soon.”
For those unfamiliar with the saying ‘Jahannam’, it’s the Arabic word for Hell.
McGregor’s bout with the much-feared Nurmagomedov will be his first since he claimed the lightweight title in the main event of UFC 205, where he became the promotion’s first simultaneous two-weight world champion.
And he's predicted he'll repeatedly rattle 'The Eagle's' brain in their showdown.
"I think I’m going to turn him into a bobblehead if I’m honest,” McGregor told TheMacLife. “It’s personal but it’s the same, it’s always a little personal. In there it’s a blank face and a new body. I see him turning into a bobblehead when I hit him. I feel his brain is going to rattle when he takes a clatter off me.
“That’s what I’m keeping in my head, but I’m a veteran now.
“I will be prepared for five rounds, I’ll be prepared for any scenario. I’m well trained, I’ve put in the work and we are confident going in, no matter where it goes.”
