Obviously it’s a tough match coming for a first match in a long time
“Obviously it’s a tough match coming for a first match in a long time,” Dimitrov said.
“I’m happy for a player when they come back from injury. I think injuries are our biggest enemy.
“Despite the fact we’re always challenging each other and want to beat each other when we play matches, at the end of the day it’s health above all.
“To see somebody coming back, especially Andy, it is not only great for the tournament but for the British fans.
“He gets to play at home in front of his fans and his family, I think that will boost him up a little bit.
“Even if he is not 100 per cent ready I think that will boost him.”
Meanwhile, Kyrgios heads into the clash in top form having reached the Stuttgart Open semi-finals over the weekend where he lost to Roger Federer.
