Murray on Federer and Nadal injuries
Ahead of his competitive return to tennis, Andy Murray explained how he is learning from Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal on how to cope with injuries.
“No [I’m not playing without pain] but I don’t really know how many athletes are pain free at this stage of their career,” he said.
“I’m sure if you ask Roger or Rafa, Roger had a bunch of problems with his back a few years ago and obviously the knee.
“Rafa’s had many issues with his knee. There’s never a time when you feel perfect.
“It’s about feeling comfortable enough where you’re able to compete on court and that’s what I’m hoping for this week.”
