Rafael Nadal’s clash with Simone Bolelli at the French Open on Monday has been postponed due to rain.
The weather turned midway through the second set with Nadal in a commanding lead.
Spaniard Nadal is seeking an 11th French Open title in Paris this summer.
He won the opening two sets of his first-round match with Bolelli 6-4 6-3.
The match umpire then asked both players before the third set if they wanted to continue, and they consented.

But the rain soon started to fall heavily on court and eventually both players were called off.
It was confirmed just before 7pm that play would not be restarted tonight.
In fact, play across the Roland Garros campus was stopped for the day.
Instead, Rafael Nadal and Bolelli will be back on court on Tuesday.
It was confirmed at 8pm on Monday night that the match will reconvene in the third set after Marin Cilic vs James Duckworth on Court Philippe-Chatrier - the first match of the day.
