Rafael Nadal: Boris Becker makes huge Alexander Zverev Davis Cup claim
BORIS BECKER is looking forward to seeing Rafael Nadal take on Alexander Zverev in the Davis Cup.
Rafael Nadal will be raring to return to court against Alexander Zverev
The pair go head-to-head in the quarter-final of the competition in Valencia.
And Zverev has a fantastic chance of knocking Nadal out of the competition.
The former's Germany team currently hold a 2-1 lead over Spain.
The winning country will take on either France or Italy in the final four, which will take place in September.
And Becker is clearly relishing being able to watch this potential monumental match.
"Well, you get the best of each nation here," he said.
Alexander Zverev will be hoping to dump Rafael Nadal's Spain out of the competition
You don't get to experience this on a regular tournament basis
"It's a spectacular setting.
"You don't get to experience this on a regular tournament basis.
"And I think that's what brings the best out of players.
"That's why Sascha is here and that's why Rafa is here."
Zverev has enjoyed a fantastic start to 2018 so far.
The 21-year-old is world No 4 at present and almost landed the Miami Open last month, losing out to John Isner in the final.
Nadal, on the other hand, has only just recovered from a hip problem that he picked up at the Australian Open.
This will be the Spaniard's first competitive match since crashing out to Marin Cilic in Melbourne in January.
