Rafael Nadal delivers injury revelation all fans will want to hear
RAFAEL NADAL insists he felt no pain during his Davis Cup win in Valencia today.
Rafael Nadal is back in action at the Davis Cup
Nadal was returning to action for the first time since injuring his hip in the Australian Open back in January.
The Spaniard beat Germany’s Philip Kohlschreiber 6-2 6-2 6-3 on the Catalonian clay.
There were concerns Nadal would not be 100 per cent fit for the match, having withdrawn from three successive tournaments this spring.
But he is adamant he felt no problems with his hip.
"I have not felt anything at all of the injury,” Nadal told reporters after the match.

I have not had any problems
“I have not had any problems.
“At the physical level I felt fine.
“I have been standing for a long time I have been able to work a lot."
Rafael Nadal is expected to face world No 4 Alexander Zverev in his second singles match but would not be drawn on whether or not he will compete in the doubles alongside Marc Lopez this weekend.
“We will see what happens with Saturday’s match and I hope to get to the match on Sunday because it is decisive, to win or not lose and I have to be prepared to play at the highest level," he added.
"Zverev is one of the best in the world, it's a difficult match and my preparation is not ideal.
“But I'm playing at home with a level of tennis I think is good enough and I hope to be prepared.”
