PABLO CARRENO-BUSTA has reacted to reaching the semi-final of the Miami Open.
Pablo Carreno-Busta was delighted to beat Kevin Anderson over three sets
The Spaniard beat Kevin Anderson in a thrilling third-set tie break to end a barren run of four-straight losses against the South African.
In defeat Anderson missed out on reaching his maiden Masters 1000 semi-final.
Meanwhile, Carreno-Busta will face either Alexander Zverev or Borna Coric, who go toe-to-toe this morning, for a shot in Sunday’s final.
And the world No 19 credited the support which he got from the crowd in the United States in helping to keep him going, especially when he lost two match points in the deciding tie break.

"It was difficult to lose two match points, but I just needed to keep going," Carreno-Busta said.
"I am so happy.
“The support of the crowd was fantastic."

Federer pulls off amazing behind-the-back volley at Miami Open
Carreno-Busta now has a decent chance of winning the tournament as most of the top players have suffered shock defeats.
Roger Federer, Marin Cilic, Grigor Dimitrov and Novak Djokovic all exited the Miami Open in the early rounds.
Carreno-Busta could face the winner of Juan Martin de Potro and John Isner in the final.
