SERENA WILLIAMS looks set to be fined after her shock Miami Open defeat to Naomi Osaka.
Miami Open: Naomi Osaka defeats Serena Williams
Williams, who has only this year returned to tennis following the birth of her child, suffered a devastating first-round loss 6-3, 6-2.
After the match the former world No 1 refused to attend her press conference and there are reports she immediately jumped in her car and got away rom the ground as quickly as possible.
The loss comes just a week after Williams lost to sister Venus in the last 32 at Indian Wells.
However, her failure to comply with tournament guidelines, which include attending all press conferences, could land her in hot bother.

Every tournament is an opportunity for me to understand the areas I need to improve to be my best
The fine for players who do not attend the mandatory post-match is $1,000 (£706).
Around an hour after the match Williams released a brief statement via the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).
“Every tournament is an opportunity for me to understand the areas I need to improve to be my best,” she wrote.
“Naomi played a great match and I learn something each time I play.
“I look forward to continuing my return by progressing every day.

Naomi Osaka was delighted to beat her childhood hero
“I’m so grateful for my fans who continue to support me ever step of this incredible journey.”
Meanwhile, Osaka, 20, could not contain her excitement after beating her childhood hero.
"It's weird if you grow up watching someone and wanting to be exactly like them and then you have the chance to play them," Osaka said.
"It's sort of this respect thing, but you also want to win really bad. I don't really know how to describe it.
“I just wanted her to, in the end, like after the match, just know who I am and stuff."
