Roger Federer: Swiss star hits the court ahead of Saturday Miami Open start
ROGER FEDERER was all smiles as he returned to tennis 48 hours after losing to Juan Martin Del Porto in the final of Indian Wells.

The world No 1 had two match points but was beaten in three sets by Del Porto in one of the matches of the year on Sunday.
After the match, the 36-year-old flew to Chicago where he helped promote September’s Laver Cup with Rod Laver, John McEnroe and Nick Kyrgios on Monday.
But Federer was back on court today in Miami with his coaches Ivan Ljubicic and Severin Luthi.
Federer, the top seed, has a bye in the first round of the Miami Open and will play a yet to be determined qualifier in the second round on Saturday evening (UK time).

Should Federer reach the final on April 1, he could again face off against Del Porto
His path to the final could then see him take on Fernando Verdasco, Pablo Carreno Busta, Kevin Anderson and Alexander Zverev.

But the Argentine has a tough route with the likes of Kei Nishikori and Novak Djokovic potential opponents.
