Roger Federer vs Hyeon Chung: Potential Indian Wells semi-final opponent reveals plans
BORNA CORIC has revealed what he intends to do while watching Roger Federer’s quarter-final clash against Hyeon Chung at Indian Wells.
Borna Coric will face either Roger Federer or Hyeon Chung in the semi-finals
Coric, one of the game’s rising stars on the ATP Tour circuit, caused an upset last night in the BNP Paribas Open when he knocked out Kevin Anderson.
The 21-year-old had never tasted victory over his South African opponent - a top 10 ranked player - but he came through in three sets - 2-6, 6-4, 7-6.
Coric awaits the winner of Federer or Chung in the semi-final.
Federer’s meeting with Chung is a repeat of the Australian Open semi-final clash which the South Korean was forced to retire from in the second set after badly blistering his feet.
I’m going to try to look at the match a little bit, have a nice steak
Coric knows exactly what to expect and has suggested he will have a nice steak while watching the match over dinner.
He said: “Chung is in fantastic form. Roger, I don't have to say anything.
“You know, we all know him.
“I’m going to try to look at the match a little bit, have a nice steak.”
Coric, who will take part in his first Masters 1000 semi-final, admitted he really struggled to get to grips with Anderson in the early stages.

He added: “I didn't start very well.
“He was hitting the ball very big, and I just couldn't find my rhythm on the ball.
“I started going more for the serve. And then I broke him earlier in the second set, which was really helpful.
“In the third, again, I knew it's one break, it's two or three points are going to decide, and that's what happened.”
