Grigor Dimitrov reveals thoughts on David Goffin 'scary' eye accident at Rotterdam Open
GRIGOR DIMITROV says David Goffin was 'just very unfortunate' to suffer an eye injury at the Rotterdam Open.
Goffin was battling it out for a place in the final on Saturday when the nasty blow happened.
A set down to Dimitrov, Goffin came to the net in a bid to make inroads on the Bulgarian’s serve.
The ploy appeared to work as he had Dimitrov scrambling to make a forehand in the second point of the second game of the second set.
But Goffin misjudged the shot and could only deflect the volley into his eye.

The Belgian made his way back to the chair where he sat down and put a towel over his head.
He had lengthy treatment before leaving the court and retiring amid what Tennis TV described as a 'scary' accident.
Dimitrov benefited from the nasty blow as he was give a free path into Sunday's finalm with Roger Federer.
The Bulgarian said after: "We had such a great battle. Playing David always excites me and I always like to compete against him… just very unfortunate today.”

Dimitrov has reached the final without losing a set all week.
But Federer, who this was crowned the oldest world No 1 in tennis history, has won the last six meetings between the pair.
