China Open: Kyle Edmund OUT of Beijing after defeat to Alexander Zverev
KYLE EDMUND’s China Open campaign is already over after his lost in two sets to Alexander Zverev.

Zverev is seeded second in Beijing and dismantled Brit Edmund with ease 6-3 7-6 (7-3).
The German broke Edmund’s serve twice in the first set, holding a crucial service game for 5-3 to stave off his opponent.
Into the second and Edmund saved two break points on serve to keep the scores level at 4-4.
And he then stunned the world no 4 with a break of his own.
Zverev hit back and earned himself two match points on the Edmund serve, only for the Brit to defend the game and force a tie-break.

And it was Edmund who blinked first as Zverev raced into a 6-3 lead before seeing out the win.
Zverev will now play Fabio Fognini in the second round of the China Open.
Rafael Nadal remains the favourite to win the title after beating Lucas Pouille in three sets this morning.
The Spaniard and world no 1 is now set to play Russian Karen Khachanov.
