ANDY MURRAY came from a set down to beat Albert Ramos-Vinolas to advance to the semi-finals of the Barcelona Open.

The world No 1 suffered a shock third-round defeat to the Spaniard just eight days ago in the Monte Carlo Masters.
And although Murray didn’t play his best tennis this time around, he edged a 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) victory.

Murray struggled to find his feet in the first set and went down 6-2 against the Spanish 10th seed.
But the Scot dug deep to bounce back in the second, taking the set 6-4, to level the tie.
Murray then found form just at the right time as he held his nerve in a final set tie-breaker to advance to the semi-finals.

Murray took control early on, winning the first four points. He lost the next three but ensured this one did not slip away, clinching victory on his second match point.
There are still things the 29-year-old needs to improve, not least his serve, with his first-serve percentage never climbing above 50.
Murray will play Austrian Dominic Thiem in the next round.
