Marcus Willis could earn millions after underdog shines at Wimbledon: Brit must act soon
WIMBLEDON hero Marcus Willis has been told he could make millions.
Marcus Willis won six games in his battle with Roger Federer at Wimbledon
Willis, a £30-an-hour club coach, had earned just £258 from tennis this year before picking up £50,000 after his defeat to Roger Federer.
But that’s peanuts compared to what the Brit could earn according to Jon White, boss of brand developers Elmwood.
But White says any offers will dry up if Willis doesn’t act soon.
White said: “He was made in 24 hours, so if he doesn’t strike while the iron is hot it will be gone by the end of Wimbledon.
"If he makes the most of it, then he could make millions.”
