Boris Becker was worried about missing Germany's World Cup game - Novak Djokovic
NOVAK DJOKOVIC has revealed that Boris Becker had to make a quick dash after his semi-final, so as not to miss Germany's World Cup game.
Djokovic made the final at SW19 again after prevailing in four sets against Grigor Dimitrov.
Djokovic's coach, Becker, - a former Wimbledon champion - was pinched with anxiety at times during his match.
And the Serb has admitted Becker was worried about missing the start of Germany's World Cup quarter-final match against France.
He made it clear to me he wanted to watch the football, so I said 'see you later'
"That's why I haven't seen him yet," Djokovic joked.
"I then realised there were big screens that were showing the game.
"He made it clear to me he wanted to watch the football, so I said 'see you later'!"
