ATP Finals schedule and order of play: Monday fixtures with Novak Djokovic in action
NOVAK DJOKOVIC headlines the second day’s play at the ATP Finals in London.
Djokovic is the pre-tournament favourite at the ATP Finals after surgingto the top of the world rankings in the second half of the season.
However, he must wait until 8pm to get his final event of the season underway when he takes on John Isner.
Alexander Zverev and Marin Cilic have been given the afternoon slot and will take to court no sooner than 2pm.
But then Djokovic will try to get past Isner - who joked he would be in for an easy night.
“I think it will be really easy for me,” Isner said.
“He is the number one player in the world and he has won this event five times if I am not mistaken.
“He is the player to beat this week for sure. He is back to number one in the world and the second half of the year has been a whirlwind.
“It is a good spot for me because I don’t have much to lose. I am definitely the underdog.
"I have got to go out there and try my best, try to play loose and free and see what happens.
“I have got to go out there and try my best, try to play loose and free and see what happens.
“I have played him eight or nine times and beaten him a couple but he has beaten me more times than not.
“It is going to be a very, very tough match.
“But I am looking forward to it. The atmosphere will be great and it is going to be a big challenge.”
