Owen Farrell reveals why England's Six Nations campaign is so exciting after Wales win
OWEN FARRELL believes that the trajectory of England's performances is an exciting one after they scraped past Wales to record their second Six Nations win of 2017.
Owen Farrell kicked 11 points as England beat Wales to keep their Six Nations Grand Slam on track
England trailed at half-time thanks to a brilliantly worked Liam Williams try but for the second time in a week Eddie Jones' men found a second-half comeback.
Elliot Daly scored England's second try in the 76th minute, followed by Farrell's pinpoint touchline conversion, to put the defending champions into a five-point lead and they held on to win.
And in spite of only having beaten France by just three points last week, Farrell refuses to accept that England are not improving.
"When you're out there you just think about your job.
"It felt as if it [the winning try] was coming, but you have to be able to execute when the chance comes, and we did.
"The last couple of games we've found a way."
