Cheika: We've got to play better in RWC final
The veteran naturalist and broadcaster is Pocock's favourite's voice and the man who recalibrates him after the adrenaline rush of a Test match. While other players like a beer, the singular Pocock prefers Attenborough's soothing tones.
"I'm a big fan of wildlife docos, particularly David Attenborough - he's a big hero of mine," said Pocock. "On Sunday, my post-game recovery was watching a couple of Attenborough episodes and putting my feet up. I was re-watching his Africa series.
"If he wants to come to the final I'm sure we could organise some tickets. He's a legend."
Pocock, who was born and raised in Zimbabwe, gave the boots he wore against England away in a competition to promote awareness of the plight of the African rhino.
