Boston hammered Cleveland 108-83 in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference finals series last night.
James finished with just 15 points, while also chipping in with nine assists and seven rebounds.
Morris, who stated before Game 1 that he was ready to slow James down, made the three-time NBA champion uncomfortable at the TD Garden.
And while James praised Morris for his efforts, the 33-year-old insisted he’ll be ready to bounce back in Game 2 on Wednesday.
“I think they had a great gameplay in Game 1 and he [Morris] was the start of it,” said James.
“He was my match-up.
We’ll be much better in Game 2
“They did a great job of communicating throughout the whole game.
“Knowing where I was, knowing where my team-mates were.
“Brad and the coaching staff did a great job, we commend that.
