NFL Draft: When do Patriots, Eagles, Packers, Cowboys get Round 1 picks?
THE 2018 NFL Draft begins on Thursday but when does each team make their pick?
What is the NFL draft?
The Draft is ordered on a worst-to-best system therefore Cleveland Browns, who failed to pick up a win in 2017, get the first pick this time around.
Super Bowl winners Philadelphia Eagles get the 32nd and final pick of Round 1.
However, the order doesn’t necessarily remain set in stone with teams able to trade for other positions or even players.
Teams may negotiate trades at any time before and during the draft and can swap draft picks or current NFL players to whom they hold the rights.
Having lost the Super Bowl in February, New England Patriots have Pick 31, however they also gained Pick 23 from a trade with LA Rams.
Green Bay Packers, who missed Aaron Rodgers for a last chunk of last season following a shoulder injury, take Pick 14.
Dallas Cowboys disappointed in 2017 and finished with a 9-7 record which gains them Pick 19.
The Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs and LA Rams aren’t involved in the first round having traded away their picks.
