The pair meet in a best of 17-frame contest in the English Open final - the first of four Home Nations event - and there is a potential mega prize pool up for grabs.
It is the first of four events to be played this season under the Home Nations banner with the Scottish Open, Northern Ireland and Welsh Open to follow.

There is £70,000 up for grabs for the winner of each event but, if a player can win all four, they'll land a £1million bonus.
There was £1million up for grabs last year too - only for four different winners to win the four events.
Liang Wenbo won in England, Mark King in Northern Ireland, Marco Fu in Scotland and Stuart Bingham in Wales.
The carrot of the million is the brainchild of snooker chief Barry Hearn.
Wilson booked his place in the final after seeing off Switzerland's Alexander Ursenbacher 6-3.
Five-time world champion O'Sullivan beat Scot Anthony McGill 6-4 in the second semi-final last night.
