The middleweight, 28, was found at his south Florida home last Thursday along with close friend and announcer Troy Kirkingburg.
Kirkingburg was pronounced dead when medical services arrived at the scene, with the cause of death unknown.
Samman's manager Gary Ibarra confirmed the American fighter, who had a 12-4 record, had died.

Samman enjoyed a largely successful UFC career but battled with drugs and depression.
In his last fight in July he lost to 35-year-old Tim Boetsch. He was scheduled to face Oluwale Bambose at UFC Fight Night 102 in Albany, New York.
Broward County Medical Examiner and Trauma Services medical examiner Craig Mallak said the cause of death is unknown.
An autopsy will be conducted but the Medical Examiner's office will not administer a toxicology report because Samman survived for four days after being found unconscious.
On Monday Sammen's mother released a statement stating that heroin was not found in his system, despite online rumours that that was the case.
