WATCH: Thai badminton player attacks opponent at Canadian Open final
TWO Thai badminton players are looking at bans after a brawl broke out at the Canadian Open men's double's finals as shocked spectators looked on.
Bodin Isara and Maneepong Jongjit were partners for Thailand at last year's Olympics, but things boiled over with the players on opposite sides of the net in Vancouver over the weekend.
The footage shows Bodin and Maneepong exchanging words and talking to the umpire before Bodin snaps, chasing Maneepong onto a neighbouring court and hauling him to the floor.

Bodin then let fly with a flurry of punches and appeared set to stamp on Maneepong before being restrained.
Fans looked on in horror as the fight unfolded and screams can be heard as the ruckus unfolds.
The two players will go before a disciplinary hearing on Thursday.
Bodin faces five charges including physical abuse, while Maneepong, the apparent victim, also faces charges of oral abuse and unsportsmanlike conduct.
