Snooker: Shaun Murphy edges it
SHAUN MURPHY survived his second narrow escape of the week at the China Open yesterday.
I was most bothered by an American who rear-ended me on the toboggan. It was bang out of line .
The former world champion scraped past Jack Lisowski in Beijing to set up a semi-final with new world No1 Mark Selby.
World No5 Murphy fought back from 4-2 down to edge through 5-4 at the £425,000 event. And that came after suffering a collision during a toboggan ride down from the Great Wall of China on Wednesday.
Murphy said: “I was most bothered by an American who rear-ended me on the toboggan. It was bang out of line .
“But otherwise it was an unbelievable experience.”
