Snooker: Stephen Hendry feels snooker titles are devauled without Ronnie O'Sullivan
ALL titles won with Ronnie O’Sullivan on the sidelines are devalued in the eyes of seven-time world champion Stephen Hendry.
Watching this year’s Masters has convinced Hendry that the ‘Rocket’ could still rip through the field if he decided to make a comeback for the world championships in April.
Apart from Neil Robertson, the standard has been poor
“The players here this week are competing without the best player in the world,” Hendry said. “Whether they like it or not – and they might not admit it – it does take something away from winning.
“You want to test yourself against the best and there is no doubt Ronnie O’Sullivan is the best out there. Apart from Neil Robertson, the standard has been poor.”
