Mark Allen's adamant about snooker's 'cheats'
MARK ALLEN risked sparking a new cheat storm last night in China by revisiting his Crucible flashpoint with Cao Yupeng.
The world No 9 beat Rob Milkins 6-2 at the £600,000 International Championship in Chengdu to set up a last-16 clash with Cao today.
At this year’s world championships, Allen accused Cao of failing to declare a foul push shot on himself during a shock defeat by the Chinese player.
He later said all Chinese players were more likely to cheat and was fined £11,000 and given a three-month ban suspended for six months.
Allen said: “I still feel I was right. Most of the other pros agreed with me but didn’t say anything publicly.”
