Snooker: Ronnie O’Sullivan and Mark Williams face action for Twitter outbursts
RONNIE O’SULLIVAN and Mark Williams are in trouble for four-letter outbursts on Twitter.
Snooker’s governing body have launched a discipline crackdown after a series of bad language rants on the social networking site.
Three-time world champion O’Sullivan and world No2 Williams have been asked for their comments and face the possibility of disrepute charges and fines from the WPBSA.
After his warning, O’Sullivan, who had joked crudely about Manchester United star Ryan Giggs and model Imogen Thomas, quit Twitter in the UK.
