Shaun Murphy drops Ronnie O'Sullivan comment as he exits Welsh Open in wild circumstances
Chang Bingyu knocked Shaun Murphy out of the Welsh Open in commanding fashion with a 4-0 win

Shaun Murphy has called Chang Bingyu's win against him in the Welsh Open as the "best performance" he's ever witnessed as the Chinese ace racked up a 4-0 demolition job. Chang produced a wonderful performance against Murphy, having a 100% potting record and knocking in four centuries in a row.
Following the defeat, Murphy insisted that Chang's performance would be all over the news if it was achieved one of the sport's biggest names, such as Ronnie O'Sullivan or Judd Trump. "That's the best performance in a best of seven I've ever seen," he told BBC Wales.
"If that were Ronnie O'Sullivan or Judd Trump it would be on the news. It's literally the best performance I've ever witnessed in a match of that length.
“You can copy and paste my comments from last week from the Players Championships. It’s another absolutely outstanding performance from an opponent against me this season.
“I’ve got nothing but good things to say. What a performance and what a player.”
Murphy was afforded hardly any table time such was Chang's dominance. "That's snooker unfortunately, that's what makes our sport unqiue. We're not gold where you hit the ball and go to find it.

“We can’t tackle. We’re not darts where you get to throw three darts in a few seconds.
“In snooker, your next shot could be your last and as we’ve just seen today…did I have even 10 shots in the match? I’m not sure I had over 15.
“Two of them were break offs, one of them was a long red and in the third frame I got to hit the ball a couple of times. I only potted one ball - it was a good shot!
“What can I say? I love coming to Llandudno but it’s been a very short trip.”
