Luke Littler's gift to 15 friends from £1million winnings revealed live on Sky Sports
Luke Littler became the first £1million winner of the World Darts Championship when he beat Gian van Veen last month.

Luke Littler splashed the cash to treat a group of friends to a night at the rugby league. The darts star and a group of his pals were in attendance to watch Warrington Wolves as they started their season with a 24-14 win over St Helens at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
A strong first half saw Toby King, Cai Taylor-Wray and Albert Hopoate all run in for the Wire before Jack Welsby and Tristan Sailor replied after the break for the visitors. Josh Thewlis’ try sealed an opening round win for Sam Burgess’ team, despite Kyle Feldt’s late consolation. Littler, a known Wire supporter, accepted the club’s invitation to parade his World Darts Championship trophy to the crowd during the half-time break. The presentation came less than a week after he did the same during Manchester United’s 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
While not quite as extravagant a homecoming as in 2025, when Warrington's home ground was renamed "The Luke Littler Stadium" in honour of the champion's homecoming “The Nuke” still appeared to be enjoying himself as he watched his side pick up their first two points of the season.
Speaking to Sky Sports after he paraded his trophy, he said: “Brilliant first-half display. Me and about 15 of us lads, we’ve come here tonight. I’ve paid for the tickets, help the lads out, but what a performance so far.”
Littler became the first £1million winner of the world darts championship when he thrashed Gian van Veen at the start of last month. The 18-year-old joined Phil Taylor, Adrian Lewis and Gary Anderson in winning successive crowns and further cemented himself as the new king of Alexandra Palace.

Littler burst onto the scene with an epic debut run to the final two years ago, and his masterful 7-1 win over Van Veen earned him a record £1million prize cheque. Asked about the prize money on stage after his victory, he said: "It is life-changing for anyone.
“Even the first round was doubled. It's life-changing, this win has just increased that gap from Luke Humphries and I'm in the clear as world number one."
Littler also revealed on Thursday night following his Premier League Darts semi-final defeat to Michael van Gerwen that he has been suffering with flu. The Brit was beaten 6-4 by the Dutchman in Antwerp.
And he revealed before the defeat: “A bit of flu going on but this is darts, we’ve just got to get on with it. My game at the minute is going well, playing well. Last week didn’t go to plan but it’s a fresh week.
“Everyone knows, I’ve said it for the past two years, I’ve won both European tours in Belgium, get a Premier League here. The PDC have sorted it.”
