Trae Young sends NBA Twitter into meltdown after move on RJ Barrett in Rising Stars game
Trae Young didn't take long to make a fool of one his opponents in the NBA All Star Rising Stars Challenge.
Trae Young had no mercy inside the opening minutes of the Rising Stars Challenge with RJ Barrett being his first victim. The Atlanta Hawks guard might only be a sophomore but he arguably has one of the best handles in the league already.
Those skills, along with his prowess on the offensive end have also seen him selected as an All Star for Sunday's game.
First though he was lining up for the US Team in the Rising Stars Challenge.
The first event of the NBA All Star Weekend is a chance for the best young talent in the league to show off their skills and Young took little time to get the crowd out their seats.
Taking the ball forward, he had Barrett at the arc and Young started putting his moves on.
Barrett reached and Young quickly punished him by putting the ball through his legs before breaking through to finish with a trademark floater.
The crowd inside the United Center loved it and the play got similar reactions on social media.
One fan said: "Trae Young next MVP damn bro he is chasing paper."
Another tweeted: "The scary thing is Trae Young does this in the actual NBA games."
