Sprinter Dina Asher-Smith is on the list after claiming gold and two silver medals at the World Athletics Championships this year.
Fellow athletics star Katrina Johnson-Thompson is also in contention following her British-record performance in the heptathlon.
Raheem Sterling has been in terrific form in 2019, helping Manchester City win the domestic treble while also speaking out racism.
Rugby’s Alun Wyn Jones features on the list after leading Wales to Six Nations glory before reaching the semi-finals of the Rugby World Cup in Japan.
