NBA NEWS - Express Sport brings you the latest news coming out for the NBA.
NBA News - LeBron James claim from Pat Riley
Miami Heat president Pat Riley has claimed LeBron James’ 2014 departure ruined a potential dynasty for the franchise.
“When LeBron made that call, I saw a dynasty fly out the window,” Riley said of James’ 2014 departure in an interview with ESPN.
“I didn’t blame him. But I knew that was a 10-year team. It was just a sad day for me and for our franchise because I wanted that dynasty.
"I wanted this city and this team to go 10 years and maybe be in the Finals eight times. I don’t know how many championships we would have won. But I don’t have any rancour toward him at all.”
Steph Curry hails Zion Williamson
Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry has heaped praise on Duke Blue Devils ace Zion Williamson, who he claims is ‘unbelievably talented’.
"He's unreal," Curry said of Williamson. "We were talking about him the other day in our team room.
“He has a lot of hype around him and he's unbelievably talented, but you can't teach, like, his passion and the way that ... he plays.
He's unreal
“He plays hard every possession and I think that's an underrated skill that kids can kind of emulate."
NBA news - James Harden unhappy with Houston Rockets
Houston Rockets ace James Harden is allegedly unhappy at the franchise, according to Curry.
“It’s so good for the sport," Curry said of Harden’s impressive point-scoring run.
"It’s interesting though because I spoke to James in the back. I complimented him on how well he’s done with everything.
“He said, ‘Yeah this is fun but I want to play different. [I don’t like] Playing by myself, like hero-ball’.
“The people want him to play like that.
“They want to play him in a system where they can play basketball with guys that know how to play.”
