There is a top prize of £200,000 up for grabs for the winner of the Masters, which is in its 45th year.
Mark Allen emerged victorious 12 months ago but was knocked out in the first round this year by Luca Brecel.
Ronnie O’Sullivan, who has won the Masters a record seven times, is the early favourite to lift the trophy at Alexandra Palace on Sunday.
