LeBron James: Lakers star’s business manager makes HUGE Cavs claim over King’s future
LeBRON JAMES could look at BUYING Cleveland Cavaliers in the future.
LeBron should get standing ovation from Cavaliers says pundit
That’s the view of his business manager Maverick Carter, with James heading back to the Cavs with his Los Angeles Lakers side tonight.
James left Ohio for the Lakers in the NBA offseason, opting out of the final year of his contract to move to the west coast.
It’s the first time he’s headed back to Cleveland since the switch having helped the Cavs to the NBA Finals for the past four seasons.
They only won the Championship once, but it seems it would not have been possible without four-time MVP James.
Since his departure, the Cavs have gone 2-13 this season while the Lakers are 9-7.
There is talk of Cleveland building a statue of James outside their Quicken Loans Arena.

But his business manager Carter believes James isn’t worried about that but has admitted he may buy his former team in the future.
“LeBron is so focussed, still on playing,” Carter told ESPN.
“He hasn’t started to look back at all, not one bit.
“If this team was up for sale, he’d definitely be one of the people who’d look at buying it for sure.”
LeBron James had four stunning years at the Cavs.
But before the clash with the Lakers, NBA pundit and former Cavs star Dahntay Jones suggested James is happier at in LA.
He said: “He always wants to be better.
“Knowing him as a person, he never wants to be stagnant.
“He never wants to be stuck somewhere.
“He wants to be better and see how far he can push himself.
“I think the Lakers jersey right now, they’re trying to move in an upward direction.”
