LeBron James reveals what he 'DEMANDS' from Lakers team-mates
LEBRON JAMES has revealed what he demands from his team-mates on and off the court.
LeBron James joined the Lakers in the summer on a four-year deal worth £119million ($154m).
The power forward has quickly established himself as the dominant player in the team, leading by example on the court.
Averaging 27.2 points, 7.5 assists and 8.1 rebounds per game, James has led the Lakers in their recent resurgent form.
The California franchise have gone 6-6 so far after a disappointing start which put head coach Luke Walton under fire.
When we’re not on the floor together we command perfection
It was reported last week that Magic Johnson met with Walton and warned him his job would be in jeopardy if results did not improve.
Since that threat, the Lakers have won four of their last five games, most recently against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night.
James is one of only three players on the 17-man roster who is over 30, along with Rajon Rondo and Tyson Chandler, who joined this week.
The experienced Rondo is in his 14th NBA season as a point guard, and James has revealed that Rondo is another alpha male within the squad.
Speaking after the 101-86 win over the Kings, James said: “Rondo is a natural leader.
“We brought him in as someone to lead - I’m one of those people as well.
“We mesh very well on the floor and off the floor.
“When we’re not on the floor together we command perfection.
“[Or] as close to perfection as possible from our guys. We just read off one another.”
Lakers’ yo-yo start leaves them 10th in the Western Conference as is stands.
Walton’s side next face the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday night.
