Defending AFC Champion Patriots will play in five US-televised games, including three Sunday night games, one Thursday night game and one Monday night game.
In addition to playing each of the other AFC East opponents twice, this season the Patriots will play one game against each of the AFC South and NFC North teams.
As the first-place team in the AFC East, the Patriots will also play the first-place team of the AFC West (Kansas City) and AFC North (Pittsburgh).
The Patriots begin the season on September 9 by welcoming the Houston Texans.
The first road game for the five-time Superbowl winners comes in Week 2 with a repeat of last year’s AFC Championship game at Jacksonville Jaguars.
Former Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola will face his old team in Week 4 as the Miami Dolphins visit Foxborough.
The big clash between Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers will take place on Week 9 as the Green Bay Packers head to the Gillette Stadium.
The Patriots receive their bye in Week 11 whileBill Belichick’s side will not play on Thanksgiving.
The Pats close the season out with consecutive home games against the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets.
