NFL fans to get behind-the-scenes look at Kelce and Mahomes as Chiefs statement made
An excitement announcement was issued on Tuesday regarding the Kansas City Chiefs.

Despite Travis Kelce putting an end to speculation over retirement, the Kansas City Chiefs continue to grab the headlines during the off-season. The three-time reigning AFC Champions are now set to feature in a six-part ESPN docuseries titled 'The Kingdom,' slated for release this autumn.
The series will delve into the history of the Chiefs franchise, looking back at the early days under former owner Lamar Hunt, and provide an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at their 2024 season, which culminated in a Super Bowl LIX defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles.
ESPN released a teasing thirty-second trailer on Tuesday, opening with star quarterback Patrick Mahomes asserting: "Every year our goal is to win the Super Bowl. If we don't win it's a failure."
Promising unrestricted access, 'The Kingdom' is poised to be ESPN's answer to HBO's 'Hard Knocks' and Netflix's 'Quarterback'.
As per an ESPN press release, the series is produced by Words + Pictures, in collaboration with Skydance Sports, NFL Films, 2PM Productions, and Foolish Club Studios.
"ESPN and Disney+ know that sports fans are interested in stories that take them beyond the X's and O's, and this series will explore the legacy of the Chiefs franchise while also showcasing the emotional highs and lows of building a championship-winning team," stated Burke Magnus, ESPN president of content.
"From the brilliance of Patrick Mahomes to the leadership of Andy Reid and the passion of Chiefs Kingdom, this project will showcase the drama, intensity, and heart that make this team a global phenomenon."
The Chiefs had humble beginnings, having missed out on the playoffs during their first two seasons in 1960 and 1961. However, against all odds, the then Dallas-based outfit won the 1962 AFL Championship, defying their underdog status.
Following their Super Bowl IV triumph, Kansas City endured a trophy drought until the arrival of key players like Mahomes and Kelce, who have been pivotal in securing three titles for the franchise.
"No team in sports has been more captivating over the last decade than the Kansas City Chiefs," declared Connor Schell, the founder of Words+Pictures.
"To get the chance to go behind-the-scenes of the team's modern-day dynasty with its signature stars, and weave that story together with the Chiefs' history and incomparable legacy of Lamar Hunt, whose imprint on the club and the league is still felt every Sunday, is a remarkable opportunity."
