The 40 runners and riders will shortly take to the post at 5.15pm today (Saturday April 8).
They will take on 30 fences over the four-and-a-half mile course at Aintree.
Where is the Grand National 2017?
Aintree has hosted the Grand National since 1839. The course is located around six miles outside of Liverpool.
What channel is the Grand National 2017 on?
ITV will show the race live from Aintree for the first time after it purchased the exclusive rights to show all of the major horse racing events.
